Hailing from South Jersey, Swansun is a 5-piece psych rock powerhouse delivering mesmerizing sounds. Their latest record, “It’s Not Adding Up,” is a must-hear for any rock lover. Swansun was formed in the summer of 2021 by Alan DeCecco (guitar), Evan Ayrer (bass), Ryan Foor (keys) and Evan Pensabene (drums) for a one-time show but immediately after their set they knew they would be doing it again. Since then, they have added Nick Bsales (drums), Sidney Riley (drums) and Dave Mercoli (guitar). They are influenced by the classics such as the Beatles, R.E.M., and current artists such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Osees. Together, these musicians all with wildly different influences come together to create a unique version of modern rock: Swansun.
